Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Symmetrly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Description of service

Symmetrly is a personal financial planning application. It helps you track income, bills, debt, savings, goals, spending, and, where available, linked bank and card accounts. The service includes calculations, projections, calendars, and AI-assisted insights designed to help you understand your money.

Symmetrly is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, lender, credit counselor, or tax professional. We do not hold your money, move funds on your behalf, or provide regulated financial advice.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately and change your password.

Financial data and accuracy

Symmetrly's calculations depend on the information you enter and, if you connect accounts, the data provided by third-party financial-data providers. We do not guarantee that balances, transaction histories, forecasts, or suggestions are accurate, complete, or current.

You should always verify important numbers against your actual bank statements, loan servicers, and pay stubs before making financial decisions. Symmetrly is a planning aid, not a source of truth for your accounts.

Not financial advice

Any projections, recommendations, or AI-generated insights within Symmetrly are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, tax, investment, or professional financial advice. Before taking action that could affect your taxes, investments, loans, or legal obligations, consult a qualified professional.

Subscriptions and payments

Symmetrly offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on the schedule shown at checkout. Prices may change with notice; existing subscriptions are typically honored at the current rate until renewal.

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

Bank and card connections

Optional account syncing is provided through third-party financial-data aggregators. Availability depends on your country, institution, and the provider's coverage. By connecting an account, you authorize Symmetrly and the chosen provider to access the data you select.

We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data delays caused by these providers, nor for any fees or account issues that arise at your financial institution.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Symmetrly for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service's APIs or infrastructure.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes on others' rights.
• Use automated systems in ways that degrade performance or security.

Intellectual property

The Symmetrly name, logo, software, designs, text, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if continued access creates legal or security risk. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Symmetrly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you did not pay.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or matters where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Symmetrly and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to the service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will try to provide notice for material changes, but we are not liable if a feature becomes unavailable.
